The Ascent - Original Painting

Somewhere between life and death, deep in the dark where the light can't reach, this painting captures a Fae rising back towards home, carried by friendship, love and the promise that she isn't finished yet.

Below her, her best friend in wolf form guides her upwards, while the star in her chest burns brighter with every step of the climb. I painted this one while thinking about the words they carried together: through love, all is possible.

The Ascent is the companion piece to Find My Way Home. Where one is about the long journey back, this one is about who brings you there.

You can contact me if you’d also like the artwork framed at an additional cost.
