I imagined her dancing the the Waltz and the Tango. The cold tones represent something slower, romantic and intentional, almost like a negotiation. The warmer tones indicate the passionate tension between the two dancers.

She is unguarded in this moment, no resistance, no distance, simply present and in her element.

This painting came from a simple thought I couldn’t let go of.

I wish she was the High Lady of the Autumn Court.
